Today I will introduce you our factory’s featured products: PET and PP strapping tape.
Our factory mainly produces two different materials of packing strapping tape. Both have their own characteristics and advantages and disadvantages, we should choose the right packing tape from the actual need.
The first one is PET plastic steel belt. It is a kind of packing strapping tape made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), designed for heavy machine packing. This type of strapping tape not only simplifies the packing process, but is also widely used in industrial packing field due to its high toughness and environmentally friendly characteristics, saving time and increasing productivity for us.
I summarize its four typical characteristics.

Compared with steel belts, it is lighter in weight and easier to operate. At the same time, it meets the requirements of environmental protection, and PET packing strapping tape is wear-resistant, can be recycled and reused.
The applications of PET strapping tape are mainly focused on three industries.
In the steel industry, it helps to bundle steel pipes, steel plates, coils of steel and so on. Timber industry also often appear in its figure: it can be great in packing wood, wooden boxes and so on. Heavy-duty packaging industry is even more indispensable, such as bricks, tiles and other construction materials packing.
The second one is PP packing strapping tape. It is made from polypropylene (PP), which has become a staple for lightweight packing because of its low price and versatility.
It has three particular characteristics.
First, compared to the more expensive PET strapping tape, PP strapping tape is more affordable. Its lower material costs make it cost-effective and suitable for high-volume use. Secondly, it is flexible, but not as high in tensile strength as PET strapping tape, and has a softer texture than PET strapping tape, making it less likely to scratch packages or users. Finally, we offer customized color or printed text service. The product can be customized to meet specific user needs, such as various colors (green,black,pink and so on) and width (16mm), to adapt to personalized requirements, convenient classification or brand promotion.
PP strapping’s application scope is mainly focused on three aspects.
It is firstly applicable to the field of lightweight packaging. For example, some cardboard boxes, food, daily necessities and other light items of bundling. Secondly it is the logistics and express delivery industry, and it is ideal for large-scale bundling and packaging. Thirdly, it is also applicable to the warehousing industry for temporary fixing of products.
